Pagratis Pagratidis

Pagratis Pagratidis was born in Kavala, Greece in December 1965. He has led a double career choice. For 27 years he was both a musician and a sound engineer. He had always been interested in photography but began to immerse himself in this art from since the year 2000. Photography has become a true passion for him, in essence a way of life. In the summer of 2009, he decided to enter the art gallery world after having studied with the renowned Greek photographer Platon Rivellis in an 8 - month seminar in art photography. In August 2009 he participated in a group exhibition and then he found himself exhibiting his work 6 times in a 1-year period, including (and most importantly) in ART ATHINA 2010. His work can be found in Greek and European private collections. He has been distinguished in international competitions.. At the end of 2012 his works will be included in the luxurious edition coffee table book with title “International Masters of Photography” from the ’’ World Wide Art Books’’ based in California. He is a member of “The Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece”. Pagratidis currently lives and works in Athens.
